Hi Guys, Geoff or I will try to get along to meetings where possible. We are always happy to answer questions either via this blog or over the phone. Happy Blogging,
Great work! Hope to see you at the SBPA meeting tomorrow. I did some germination tests on 3 different types of oats and the results were as follows Heritage Gallelo : 78% Saia : 70% Feed oats 23% So maybe it is worth paying the price after all! Only got them in last Sunday with 3mm of rain on Monday hoping for another wetting soon.
Sorry I have been absent for the past few months, I have been tied up with CMA projects in Kangaroo Valley and the Berry area. Good news is I managed to get all $100,000 ish allocated to Small Farms Network members.
I am still keen to get soil tests done on beef members farms but this may not happen until July when things settle down.
Good initiative having the blog, I hope the members will use it.
Thank you and welcome back. We look forward to catching up with you and working collaboratively with SFN prgrammes and fabulous opportunities in the future.
Hopefully this will improve the Assocaition to share information to and for its it members.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic idea. Well done. Great information, easy to read, good connections.

Excellent meeting on Friday. Nice to see you all there. I am ringing around for the best price on Bronco or Bromicide, does anyone have some tips?
ReplyDeleteJanet fabulous information on oats ! As Adrian did say on Friday .. the cost of seed is actually quite small compared to preparation and other costs
ReplyDeleteAnthony/Geoff thank you for your support. Look forward to catching up next meeting in June. Best Simon Hart
